For now on this researching journey I have now came to terms with my researching and discovered I need to focus on establishing the theme. I also have to make a way on cutting clips and making the writing shape out as if it were a book, so the director and everyone else can understand the characters and how the characters look shaping out the writing into a real life. Now in this research blog if needed I will be using reference on the movie “War Room” just like the last movie I researched they are similarly related to the movie production me and my team are working on.
Since this movie is relates our movie it will be an amazing factor to research on so I can find a clue about how to do similar to make our production as good as theirs. For writing my movie I understand that I will also need to focus on creating the message, so the people watching can understand the theme on our production. In “War Room” they used metaphors to create their theme , they used repetition to sound important and give off a suspense, this indicates that for my script I can use repetition to sound more serious to give off more of a dramatic vibe for the audience. The movie “War Room” also had some prayers that were said, since they are a Christian movie they will have some prayers being said, this indicates I can use at lease one or more prayers to sound more like the young girl is turning to Christ and she knows her religion well. The image provided it shows where I got all of this information from on the different ways I can use different strategies to create the meaning of the movie production. These examples are all from the movie “War Room”.The Forge movie created theme by forgiveness, so in my movie I can create a scene where the character is asking God for forgiveness and remembering all the bad things they’ve done in the past so they can ask for forgiveness of them doing their wrong. I can also create a scene of the girl giving a backstory on her life and make the movie about her past and then make the rest about her process of turning to Christ. Both of these movies have a metaphor connecting to the title of the movie, so in my movie I can also create a metaphor that can connect to our movie. This entire blog was just me researching and finding ways I can make my movie give off the theme it is supposed to give off and finding ways to make the production more dramatic. I will need to do another blog on a movie that is similar to these two but the next one I do I will need to do on comedy. Now that I have more understanding on how I can make my script better, I feel more prepared and more capable on how I can do the script. Well that’s all for today.
