Today’s blogpost is a reflection on what we learned not to long ago in class.
In class we learned how to use a green screen. Learning this was really good for me and my team because we are going to need the green screen at least once or twice. I’m not going to lie, I forgot most of how to use it. Even though it’s not for me to know about because this is more for the director or editor, it’s still good for me to know just in case anything happens or the director forgot how to use it I will be there to help.
Here’s the set up of how the green screen looked, our teacher gave us an example and explained how to use it. We have to get the camera in the frame and we select a color green, purple, yellow, and I feel there’s another but I forgot honestly. Then you can go to your browser and add an image or a video to fit in the green screen. It was a really fun, cool, and interesting topic to learn because it also helps me understand how movies that have green screens do it, which is new and amazing information.
